Hope you get lots of berries!

Do you plant onion plants? Also, do you plant long day onions? This is my first year making sure I do both and my onions are looking great, mulching the onions is a huge help, same with garlic.

Also, what variety of potatoes did you grow? I hear varieties like Dakota Pearl can produce in a shorter season

If so I’ve heard that dogs can get very sick from chicken poop, just wondering if this has ever happened to you before because I want to know if it’s safe for my dog

They are hardy to zone 3 I think and really don't care what the soil is like. Easy to propagate once you get them established too. Service berries are pretty easy shrub tree with a nice berry. They are one of the first things to flower here so good pollinator attracter. Walking onions do well in my zone 5 garden and give really early green onion and look wild once they start making the bulbules. Haven't tasted the root yet but it is supposed to be like shallots. Hardy kiwi and grapes are options too but you need good trellises for those.
Garden is looking good for a 1st year to be established, especially in spent soil. Everything will explode with growth once you get a few rains and some consistent heat. The difference between early July and end of July always amazes me.
