Do you like hanging them vs leaving the pot and using a trellis?

Another problem with terra cotta is the salt or mineral build up over time. It does give the pot character but not sure it’s good for the Hoyas.

I don't like the ceramic but most of mine don't have drainage holes (plants came in them). I don't buy ceramic pots seperately. Plastic is just for acculimation but I tend to overwater. I like terracotta since it helps me keep from killing my hoyas. Thanks for your overview of the options.

I find mine don’t really grow that much in plastic the only one I have in plastic is my compacta and she’s living her best right now lol
As far as the mineral build up I just wash and scrape it off no biggie
Plus designs on terracotta look so much better to me when you find them 😊😊

I started with terracotta but just don't care for the look it gets when minerals build up. Rustic is just not my style. My mix is very airy with mostly orchid bark and it has worked well so far. I also like plastic pots because you can easily tell by the weight of the pot if its time to water.

Then I got a carnosa queen from Planterina that's still in nursery pot. I don't know what I'll use when I have to repot her🤔 any suggestions would be appreciated ❣ Thanks Amanda for the video you're always so happy & funny ❣ 🤗]]> I'm just starting my Hoya collection. I have 2, one single stem of compacta I got from Etsy bare root that I put in a taracotta. I actually wasn't watering it enough ☹️ but it's alive. Then I got a carnosa queen from Planterina that's still in nursery pot. I don't know what I'll use when I have to repot her🤔 any suggestions would be appreciated ❣️ Thanks Amanda for the video you're always so happy & funny ❣️ 🤗
